dear leia, luke, aunty steph and uncle jc
remember how
we waited and waited
at both ends of the world
for that brown paper parcel
to arrive and after much
moaning and groaning
wishing and hoping
wringing of hands
greying of hairs etc etc


those good good things
eventually came
to those of us
who awaited patiently
so here we are
gladly thanking you
whilst excitedly opening
your thoughtful pressies
on christmas mornin'

now that our
house extensions
are on their
home stretch
we have begun
the arduous task
of selecting
paint colours
for the walls

so today i helped daddy play with sample paint pots and
spread some 'test squares' for the external walls

not tremendously
exciting work
when it's
37 degrees out...
and made
even tougher
given a
totally
indecisive
mummy!

all i want for christmas...

are my (top) two front teeth which are coming through
well on their way in time for christmas day i say i say
hence the gnawing on cardboard toilet rolls
ala my big brother james when he was the same age
isn't our mummy continuing some 'weird and wonderful traditions'?!
