celebrate tonight come on!

although it
was not
my birthday
yesterday
i still had
a whale
of a time
ripping open
presents

licking
batter
off the
beaters

blowing
out
birthday
candles

enjoying a
slice of
birthday
cake
with a
modicum
of
decorum

and then
sod the
manners -
scoffing
the lot
with my
bare hands...

a(w)assaulting i will go...

there are some children out there
who can sing like angels
or perhaps sing nicely in tune...
on the other hand there are children like moi
who don't imagine the vienna boys' choir will be a-knocking our door anytime soon...

and husband to mummy
