those wellies

this is what happens
when mama goes
shopping for my
wellingtons at the
discount store and
willingly settles for
whatever colour they
have left in my size
as she cannot bear to
go traipsing around
to other stores
or spend more money
you'd think she
could at least
be a little more
discerning wouldn't you?!
