my books have pictures

some people like
reading novels
others like magazines
coffee-table books
even comics
and some like my mummy
love poring over junk mail
(if she gets the chance, i.e.)
i think i have inherited
her love of browsing
especially when my
grandparents kindly
sent me all the
way from singapore
the disney pixar
cars magazine

it's true bliss when
i can identify
all the characters
from the movie and
just keep staring at them
lovingly...
yet it somehow feels
like pulling-teeth
for mummy
when i
force her to
read it to me
over and over again...
it seems poh poh
has a lot
to answer for!
