mama is grieving
because time and tide
waits for no
man/woman/child
and in the next month
i will hit the two's -
a time which she
hopes and prays
that that
commonplace
adjective
(which henceforth
will remain
unwritten
and unspoken)
will not apply -

she would rather aspire it to be a time of
tremendous, tantalising and terrific two's
so here's to enjoying and savouring
my remaining one-and-a-bit year's worth of adventures
and gamely heading forth towards the uncharted waters of two-dom
