that's how young
i am today!
a whole seventeen months
and what's new with me
you ask?
well mama says
she can't quite
put her finger on it
but she seems to think
things are starting
to 'click' in my head
i can understand
what she tells me pretty well
(though sometimes
i just choose to ignore it)
and she suspects

i am on the brink of verbal diarrohea
(whatever that means)
so she says she wants to savour
my urgent incomprehensible babbling
before the sweet innocence comes to an end...
(again, whatever does she mean?)
