look, another mealtime distraction
and my goodness *surprise*surprise*
it's actually not a shape sorter!
(do you think they've cottoned on that i've cottoned on?!)
anyway, it's a fisher price gumball surprise machine
which has these four roller balls
that roll out when the lever is pressed
while some amusing music sounds
i am getting rather good at it these days
beause it's the second time the folks have borrowed it from the toy library
(do you think this is equivalent to the crime of borrowing the same library book
twice and, adding insult to injury within the space of only four weeks??!)
i tell you, what with all this extra practice i've been afforded
i can press the lever four times in very quick succession
and all the balls roll out, a little too quickly, one after another
causing mass scrabbling about for the balls
as they roll all over the floor
well, i think it's good payback for them thinking i don't remember toys!
