shared sartorialism

in 2007
my great-grandmother
(god rest her soul)
presented me
with this
chinoiserie
outfit

and ever
since then

it has been
religiously

resurrected
for the annual
festive lunar new year

posterity pics

this year said outfit (literally) stretches even further with callum entering the fray.

Sunday 14 February 2010

lo hei kong hei

this year we decided to escape the heat of the kitchen
(read as mummy can't cook)

and ushered in the lunar new year

with a scrumptious dinner at shun fung on the river
with all the family and our godparents
complete with sunset views...
we wish you all a bountifully blessed year of the metal tiger!

Friday 12 February 2010

a 1 and 2 and 3 and a... 4!

when you
have a
birthday
at kindy age
your mummy
is expected
to turn into
some
kind of
domestic goddess and

produce
individual cupcakes for all one's classmates...
so with some splendid assistance
from myself and the delightful Ms Crocker
mummy made up two batches of these scrumptious munchies.

We also kept
up

the
usual
tradition
of celebrating

with a meal
with my
godparents

and this year
i
had the
added joy
of
having

my
kong kong

and
poh poh

join us all

as well as indulge
me with a
racing car trackand godpa and godma with a remote control car... the joys of being a child indeed!
thank you
everyone
for your
lovely
greetings,
wishes
and gifts
- i am
indeed
blessed
and
grateful

for posterity's sake
here is my
first day
of kindy portrait
complete with
uniform, hat and bag.

thankfully it has all
gone swimmingly
as i am rather
enjoying the
experience so far...
